ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION

  1. WITH POISONING/EXPOSURE
    1. Occupational exposure may occur through inhalation, ingestion, eyes, and skin. 1-Bromopropane exposure could adversely affect peripheral nerves and/or the central nervous system. Malaise, dizziness, light headedness, headache, trouble concentrating, numbness, and weakness of the lower extremities have been reported following inhalational exposure to 1-bromopropane. The following effects may also occur: Dermatitis, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, dysphagia, disruption or failure of menstruation, urinary difficulties, irritation of eyes, throat, or nose, anemia, or hematocrit, liver damage, and lung damage.
