ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION

  1. Chloroethyl chloroformate is an irritant chemical that can cause burns of the eyes and skin. Studies in experimental animals indicate that serious or fatal poisoning can occur by the oral, inhalation, or dermal exposure routes.
  1. Irritation of the respiratory tract may occur following vapor inhalation, based on this agent's known irritant properties. Esophageal or gastrointestinal tract irritation or burns might occur following ingestion.
