ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION
- Allylamine is a strong skin, eye, mucous membrane, and respiratory irritant. The vapors are extremely obnoxious and act as a good warning sign to prevent voluntary overexposure. CNS excitement, seizures, coma, and death can occur from acute exposures. Chronic exposures have induced lesions in the heart and its blood vessels in experimental animals. No information was found on possible effects of chronic exposure in humans.
