ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION
- WITH THERAPEUTIC USE
- It is difficult to differentiate side effects of the drug from effects of the poison or atropine when used therapeutically. Blurred vision, diplopia and impaired accommodation, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, nausea, tachycardia, increased systolic and diastolic blood pressure, hyperventilation, and muscular weakness were all observed in healthy volunteers. Elevations in liver enzymes and creatine phosphokinase were also observed.
- WITH POISONING/EXPOSURE
- Data are limited. Overdose effects observed in healthy volunteers include: dizziness, blurred vision, diplopia, headache, impaired accommodation, nausea, slight tachycardia.
